The "Pegasus" shelter was established in December 2016. At that time, the main area of work was helping horses, wild animals and birds: wolves, foxes, raccoon-like dogs, roe deer, hares, squirrels, badgers, hedgehogs.
"We release all cured wild animals and birds back into nature, if they can normally return there. Those who cannot live independently in nature or have disabilities remain in the shelter. There are also animals from petting zoos that have suffered from improper maintenance. This , for example, the old camel Yasha, ferrets, ferrets, peacocks, raccoons, turtles and many others."
When the shelter was established, it was named after the magical horse Pegasus to bring good luck to all animals. The name has remained, but now the direction of work has changed, because dogs and cats that suffer from human abuse have been added.
Our goal is high-quality animal rescue, good maintenance and finding a family!
