Good will conquer evil! We hereby invite educational institutions to join the Humaneness Lesson beloved by all teachers and students.
Despite the difficult situation, that has developed due to russia’s military invasion of Ukraine, our Foundation continues to hold educational activities with children on the issues of responsible attitude towards animals. Because it is our tailed friends who, like no one else, calm us down in stressful situations and give us positive emotions, and at the same time remain unwitting hostages of difficult situations that have developed as a result of the human war.
The relevance of the topic of responsible and humane treatment of animals, the requests of Ukrainian teachers, as well as the positive impact of four-legged animals on the psycho-emotional state of children became the foundation of our decision to hold the traditional International Humaneness Lesson in 2022, which is going to coincide with the World Animal Day (October 4).
The participation of your school in the event will provide significant support to Ukrainian children and teachers in creating a plane of unity and goodness.
Dates for the Humaneness Lesson
The Humaneness Lesson will be held on October 3-7, 2022 in either in person or online formats (a teacher is to choose).
The terms for participation
To participate, please hold the Lesson dedicated the humane and responsible attitude towards animals on October 3-7.
If you independently compose the agenda for the “Humaneness Lessons”, we recommend that you include the following questions:
1. How to properly care for a pet.
2. Items helping to identify animals (clip, address book, microchip, token with a QR code).
3. Rabies, ticks, fleas: symptoms and prevention.
4. Dog walking: danger of poisoning, walking rules.
5. Reasons for the appearance of stray animals.
6. Rules of conduct when meeting with stray animals.
7. Why do people refuse from their animals.
8. How each of us can help animals.
9. Humane methods of solving the problem of stray animals.
10. Current legal regulations concerning animals.
Please do not bring animals to the Humaneness Lessons, as being away from home in crowded places can be stressful for them. Take care of the health of your furry friends!
If you want to receive an electronic certificate of participation in the III International Humaneness Lesson for your educational institution, you should:
1. fill in the application form (by 07.10.2022) - here
! Please remember that only one application should be submitted from one educational institution (where the total number of planned humaneness lessons should be indicated).
After filling in the application form, a copy of your answers should be sent to the e-mail you specified. If you have not received such an email within a few hours, please write us to: lecturer@happypaw.ua .
2. Hold the "Humaneness Lesson" on October 3-7, 2022 (in person or online).
3. The process of holding each “Humaneness Lesson " must be photographed or a screen shot taken (when conducting the Lesson online) and sent by October 10, 2022 to the email address: lecturer@happypaw.ua (1 lesson - 1 photo).
Photos must be of good quality, the photo must show that it is the "Humaneness Lesson" dedicated to the humane and responsible attitude towards animals (dogs and cats) that is being held. The following inscription can be made on the board: date, country, city name, school name, lesson topic (for example: October 4, 2022, Lithuania, Vilnius, Sofia Kovalevskaya Progymnasium, II International Humaneness Lesson).

If needed, you can cover the faces of the children in the photo.
The email with photos should indicate: the name of the educational institution, country, city, number of lessons (according to the number of photos).
* If the photos are not sent on time, or the email contains no information about the educational institution, the organizers reserve the right not to send the electronic certificate of participation to the educational institution.
If you wish, after the Lesson you can post a publication on Facebook about the participation of your educational institution in the III International Humaneness Lesson, adding a photo from the lesson, your impressions and hashtags #lesson_kindness2022 #happypaw #урок_доброти2022
