In November, Happy Paw and Joker completed the large-scale project "Iron Paws" — the construction and furnishing of a Veterinary Center for the treatment and sterilization of animals in the Obukhiv district
The center consists of:
— a quarantine room with boxes and a bath for animals
— an operating room equipped with a professional surgical table and the necessary furniture
— a household trailer for storing feed and medicine.
The quarantine room will allow to separate sick and newly arrived animals, and the operating room will allow the carrying out planned manipulations and sterilization of animals of the shelter and the community of the Obukhiv district. Already on the first day of work, together with professionals from the Animal Protection Center, we managed to castrate and sterilize 15 animals.
The construction of a veterinary complex in the Vidrodzhennya shelter is an important step on the way to solving the problem of stray animals in Ukraine.
The implementation of the project lasted six months, and more than UAH 760,000 was raised for its implementation, 70% of which was covered by the fund's partner, the Joker company.
