In March 2026, two Happy Paw partner shelters, "Shchaslyvyi Pes" and "Bim," found themselves in distress when a flood inundated the dog enclosures. Fortunately, none of the animals were harmed, but their temporary homes became uninhabitable.
Volunteers and caring individuals temporarily took many of the animals into foster care. While the dogs were warm and safe, swift action was needed.
Therefore, Happy Paw purchased 4 new spacious enclosures for the "Bim" shelter, allowing its residents to return from foster care.
And for the "Shchaslyvyi Pes" ("Happy Dog") shelter, Happy Paw purchased and delivered 4 cubic meters of timber—boards to raise the flooring in existing enclosures so that, in the event of potential natural disasters, the dogs remain protected, dry, and warm.
