Happy Paw built a complex of enclosures for the Lada shelter, which evacuated its wards from Bakhmut to a safer place almost a year ago.
The shelter is located on a former poultry farm in the Dnipropetrovsk region. Happy Paw provided the shelter with the emergency assistance it needed with food, vaccines, treatments, and dog kennels. However, due to the fact that the territory of the poultry farm was not fenced, a large number of dogs had to be kept on chains for a long time.
In order to improve the conditions of keeping animals and their welfare, Happy Paw, with the support of partners Veterinarians Without Borders, built 14 spacious enclosures so that the dogs were safe and could move freely.
