Together with American partners Danny&Ron's Rescue, Happy Paw built 20 comfortable enclosures for dogs in the shelter in Fasova, Kyiv region.
The "Best Friends" shelter suffered from shelling by the occupiers in February-March 2022. A large part of the residential and service premises was burnt down by the fire. Therefore, the foundation decided to create new, more comfortable conditions for the life of dogs in the shelter:
— The enclosures are built from a gas block on a concrete foundation
— The complex is covered with a roof with a hydro barrier and ebb tides
— A septic tank is connected to each enclosure
— A water pipe has been connected to the entire complex of enclosures
— Plastered and painted walls
— Installed lattices with doors and convenient latches
— Installed insulated dog houses
The construction lasted 4 months, and in June, the first residents were settled in the aviaries - animals rescued in the Kherson region after the explosion of the Kakhovskaya HPP.
