In frame of the project «Heroes of our times» the magazine «Fokus» took the interview of our Olga Spektor
The magazine «Fokus» in the frame of the project «Heroes of our times» told about the founder of our Foundation Olga Spektor. Her interview is very interesting, meaningful and important.
Some of the main statements:
"First troubles that we've faced was the bad ukrainian legislation" and the way how the shelter's work is regulated. Now a lot of the laws are too old or poorly conceived. The poor participation of the state in solving the problem made us feel very sad. When the team was very small it was very hard to solve some moments. But the most hard for us it was to fight with stereotypes about stray dogs, charity work and so on. Unfourtunately our people doesn't beleive in the work of charity organizations!"
"No we work only in Kiev and region. But we know that we have to work in a whole Ukraine, all the more so we have enough of experience. I feel that during few years we will be working everywhere for sure. And I can't wait for that! We are planning few big ad campaigns, one of them - whole-ukrainian animal system search. And that will be the first serious step to move out of Kiev".
