Autumn is the most difficult time for many stray dogs. Especially for those who have spent summer in suburban settlements. Good gardeners that were feeding dogs all summer leaving their homes and dogs are left in empty villages without food and a warm home. Typically, in this period the Fund receives a huge number of calls with requests to help such dogs. And we are heartbroken because the number of places in shelters is limited. But caring gardeners can help a dog without much difficulty. And not just gardeners! If you find at home/work stray dogs with no obvious signs of aggression, just know that you can really help! We will explain how.

And now more details on each point:
Take a photo. It's simple on the one hand and on the other – there are some important details. Photos should certainly be of high quality. Also, if there are many dogs, it is important to take a picture of each dog individually and even from several angles (yes, do not be lazy, it's just for 10 minutes longer).
Place an ad on the Internet. The basic rule − properly written contact phone number, description of health, nature, sex, age, species. An ad should be clear, brief and at the same time touching.
Message boards. There are many, we name the most popular: Slando, Inforico, 212 Zoobazar, Olx. Each board usually has periodic renewal (which means that once a certain number of days you can update your ad and again it will be the first in the list), pay attention to this and do not forget to update.
Forums. For example, Club pytomtsev, RIA, UkrKOT, UaVet, Dog Training Portal of Ukraine. Each section has specialized forum "message board", there should be placed an advertisement.
Printed publications. Among absolutely free we know only Aviso, but before placing free ad you have to wait about a month. So if you are willing to spend a small amount of money (50 USD), it is better to place a paid ad.
Social networks. Twitter, Facebook, Odnoklassniki − are the most effective sources of information dissemination. Almost all community dedicated to homeless animals will respond to your request to place an advertisement. Write to us in the community "Дай лапу" in Facebook, Vkontakte, Odnoklassniki.
Beside Internet
Not everybody has an Internet (yes, still there are such people). So it is important to use and offline ways of advertising.
For example, print ads on the printer and distribute it everywhere you can: at work, at home, in public places, especially - Metro Darnitsa, Svyatoshyn, Lybidska, Vydubychi (near these stations are trains that go to the village, so there are high concentration of potential hosts for dogs).
A more complicated version − to take the dog in public places, put a sign "give in good hands" next to it and wait. The advantages of this method are that you see a potential owner immediately and you are able to assess the prospects of their temporary ward. Among the disadvantages − big time expenses and need for dogs transportation.
