We are inviting educational institutions to join the beloved and expected by all teachers and students International Humaneness Lesson on October 3-10, 2024, dedicated to dogs and cats.
The event will be held in either offline or online formats!
Please do not bring/come with animals to the Humaneness Lessons, as being away from home in crowded places can be stressful for them.
Here is how you can join the event and receive an electronic certificate of participation
To participate in the V International Humaneness Lesson and receive a certificate of participation, you should:
1) Apply for the participation in the event by October 10 (the application form button is in the end of this article).
2) On October 3-10, 2024, hold the lesson dedicated to home pets and stray dogs and cats. Take photos or screenshots of the lessons (1 photo/image from each class)/
3) Send 1 photo from each lesson to the e-mail address: lecturer@happypaw.ua (by 14.10.2024). The email with photos must include: the name of the educational institution, city, country, number of lessons (according to the number of photos).
Photos must be of good quality, the photo must show that it is the “Humaneness Lesson” dedicated to the humane and responsible attitude towards dogs and cats that is being held. If the lesson is held in the classroom, the following inscription can be made on the board: date, city, school, topic of the lesson (for example: October 4, 2024, Riga city, Latvia, Primary school No. 98, the V International Humaneness Lesson).
If needed, you can cover the faces of the children in the photo.
Please send the photo report from the email address you indicated in the application form.
Examples of photos of the Humaneness Lesson in either offline or online formats:
!If the photos are not sent on time, if the photos do not show the Humaneness Lesson about dogs and cats, or the email contains no information about the educational institution, the organizers of the event reserve the right not to send the electronic certificate of participation to the educational institution.

When to expect the participant's certificate?
We pay special attention to each letter with a photo report, so it takes about 2-3 weeks to process all photo reports. After summarizing the results of the event, we start the production and regular distribution of certificates.
Therefore, the certificate for the educational institution will be sent to the e-mail address (specified during registration) within 1 month after the end of the Humaneness Lesson. If you do not receive a certificate, write to us at lecturer@happypaw.ua .
To whom will the certificate be issued?
The name of the educational institution that participated in the Humaneness Lesson will be indicated in the certificate. There will be an empty line under the name of the educational institution so that you can enter the name of the teacher who conducted the event.
We attract friends
Dear teachers, we really want as many students from different countries as possible to learn about the rules of behavior with animals, so if you know teachers from different countries, invite them to participate in the Humaneness Lesson!
Consent to the processing of personal data of the participant
Participation in the event automatically gives consent to the processing of personal data of the participant during the event.
By submitting a report on photos, videos, other audiovisual works on which natural persons are depicted (filmed), the Participant is responsible to the Fund for obtaining from such natural persons consent to filming and the right to use and distribute photos, videos, other audiovisual works for of their participation, in particular, in the case of claims against the Fund, undertakes to reimburse the Fund for all funds collected from the Fund, expenses related to the resolution of such claims.
By submitting a photo report, the participant grants the Fund the right to post the videos/photos provided by the participant for public viewing, to use such photos in any way, to allow and/or prohibit the use of such photos by third parties.
If you don't want your submitted photos to be displayed on the Foundation's website or in our social networks, please indicate this in the letter with the photo report.
Flash mob "Click for fluffy" for Humaneness Lesson
We invite educational institutions to join the flash mob "Click for fluffy". Conditions: on the day of the humaneness lesson, print out a photo of an animal looking for a home. Record a video (individual or collective) with a printed photo of the animal and a call to help the animal find new owners (for example: "This is Maya, she lives in a shelter and is waiting for faithful loving owners. Let's help her find a family. Tell your friends about Maya and share this video. Your every click brings the fluffy one closer to a new happy life." Post a video on social media with shelter/volunteer contact details and hashtags #happypaw #bioetika #click_for_fluffy. Tell us about your participation in the flash mob by adding a link to the publication in the letter with a photo report on the Humaneness Lesson.
