Solving the problem of homeless dogs in our country can be possible only with the right attitude of the society and the change in the existing stereotypes. It is, therefore, one of the main aims of the Foundation’s activities to educate the generation with humane attitude to animals, including the homeless ones. It is important to inform children and students about the animal laws in Ukraine and in the world, and to involve the young generation into solving the problems of the homeless dogs.
Interactive lessons in schools. Starting from April, 2013 the Foundation holds on the educational work in schools of Kyiv. The interactive lections about humane animal attitude, which were worked out by the Foundation, are counted on the auditory from 10 to 30 pupils and divided by age-related criteria. The working materials are checked by leading schoolmasters and psychologistsб and also approved and permitted for carrying out in the schools of the capital by the Department of education and science of Kyiv city state administration.
Visits to shelter. For involving children in the helping homeless animals process the Foundation organizes visits of pupils and their teachers in the shelters. During these visits children can closely interact with homeless dogs, feed and play with them.
Interactive lectures in Universities. The Foundation has elaborated the materials for lectures about the animal humane treatment, which includes current information and possible opportunities for help, photo- and video-materials. Also, we organize gatherings of nutrition and various stuff for dogs in the universities. The Foundation also gives a chance to pass the educational and working practice in the Foundation.
